ICOM comes equipped with a high speed, dual band CDMA2000-1X cellular data modem. Capable of packet speeds up to 153KBS the unit is compatible with voice and data applications and services. Built to migrate and take advantage of the latest 3G networks offered by the cellular carriers no need to worry about service being available in 5 years unlike the AMPS analog control channel alternative.
